Otti's Vision: Abia as a Global Manufacturing Hub

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State is focused on transforming the state into a global manufacturing brand, as stated by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba. This initiative was highlighted during the flag-off ceremony for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Competitive Industrial Product Program, which included a quality assurance assessor training program held at Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic in Aba.

Ajagba emphasized the state's commitment to creating an enabling environment for enterprise growth through infrastructure development, policy support, and access to finance. He commended partners such as the Mastercard Foundation for their collaboration and urged trainees to apply the knowledge gained.

The program aims to strengthen the skill ecosystem and position Aba as a globally recognized hub for skill delivery and export.
