AAC Candidate Doris Ogala Slams N150M Billboard Fee

Doris Ogala, the governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Abia State, expressed her outrage over the N150 million fee imposed by the Abia State Structure for Signage and Advertising Agency (ABSSAA) for the placement of campaign billboards. In a video shared on X, Ogala stated that she lacks a wealthy benefactor to cover such exorbitant costs, particularly criticizing the financial burden placed on candidates amid pressing social issues.

She pointed out that many citizens are suffering, with workers not receiving their salaries and people dying in hospitals. Ogala firmly stated, “Where will I get the money from?

Do I have a godfather who has stolen government funds?” She challenged anyone to interfere with her campaign efforts, asserting that all candidates would campaign without billboards if necessary.
