Doris Ogala Vows to Become Abia Governor in 2027

Doris Ogala, the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for Abia State in the 2027 election, has declared her unwavering ambition to become the next governor, referring to it as a “divine mandate” to rescue the people of Abia. Ogala secured the AAC governorship ticket after winning the party’s primary election in May.

During an appearance on the Clarity Zone podcast, she expressed confidence in her ability to defeat other candidates, claiming she is better qualified. Ogala has been vocal about political issues, particularly criticizing the administration of incumbent Governor Alex Otti for not improving living conditions in the state.

She challenged claims regarding electricity supply, stating that residents do not experience 24-hour electricity. Ogala's agenda includes enhancing welfare, economic growth, job creation, education, healthcare, and infrastructure, while promoting transparency and good governance.

Her criticisms come amid ongoing concerns about power supply affecting businesses and households across Nigeria.
