Abike Dabiri-Erewa's Email Hacked; Public Warned

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), announced that her email account has been hacked. In a statement, she urged the public to ignore any messages sent from her compromised email address until she regains full control of the account.

Dabiri-Erewa assured that efforts are underway to secure her account and restore normal operations. Furthermore, she expressed deep sadness over the tragic death of Nihinloluwa Agoro, who died in a road accident in Fort Bend County, Texas, on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

The incident also involved Temiloluwa Isaac, and Dabiri-Erewa extended her sympathies to the Agoro family during this difficult time. Abdur Rahman Balogun, the head of the media and public relations protocol unit, communicated the loss and emphasized the need for road safety to prevent such tragedies.
