Dapo Abiodun Endorses Shuaib Salisu for APC Senate Candidacy

On Thursday, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun endorsed Shuaib Salisu as the consensus candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming senatorial elections. The announcement was made during an event held at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, where Abiodun also presented Olamilekan Adeola as the senator representing Ogun West.

Abiodun highlighted the qualities and experience of Salisu, who served as his Chief of Staff from 2019 to 2023, and emphasized the need for a credible and widely accepted candidate to contribute to the growth and development of the party in the state. He called on party members to embrace peace and unity ahead of the primaries and urged them to conduct themselves peacefully to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.

The governor also expressed gratitude for the support from the people of Ogun Central, stating that the APC would continue to work towards the state's development and economic growth.
