Bayo Orebiyi Named Consensus Candidate for Ogun Assembly

Bayo Orebiyi, a former senior special assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun, has emerged as the consensus candidate for the Yewa South constituency seat in the Ogun State House of Assembly for the upcoming 2027 general elections. This decision was announced in a statement by Lateef Akintunde, the zonal information officer for Yewa Division, following extensive consultations among key stakeholders and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Yewa South local government area.

The party leaders unanimously adopted Orebiyi as their preferred candidate, highlighting his track record of service, loyalty to the party, and deep understanding of grassroots politics. Mufutau Ajibola, a party leader, noted that Orebiyi's candidacy aligns with the party's interests and aims to ensure a united front for a successful election.
