Atiku Criticizes APC, Advocates for Electoral Reforms in Meeting with IBB

Former Vice President Atiku met with former military President IBB in Minna, where he criticized the ruling party APC, accusing it of undermining the democratic process in Nigeria. Atiku demanded credible electoral reforms and emphasized the need for unity among political stakeholders.

He clarified that his party, the African Democratic Congress, is focused on mobilizing membership and not currently considering contesting the 2023 presidential election. Atiku's meeting with IBB lasted nearly two hours, with discussions on tax reform proposals and electoral reforms.

Meanwhile, Oyo State Governor also held a separate meeting with IBB in Minna, but details of their discussion were not disclosed.
