Abuja-Kaduna train derailment: We’ll prevent future occurrence – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the recent train derailment between Abuja and Kaduna, promising to take necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future. The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) confirmed that the train derailed between Kubwa and Asham stations on Tuesday.

While awaiting a full briefing on the incident, Tinubu stated that he was deeply saddened by the derailment and offered heartfelt prayers for the injured passengers and their families. He emphasized the importance of staying updated on the situation and ensuring swift action to support those affected.

The NRC is already addressing the situation, with measures expected to be implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
