NRFF Concludes Rugby Course, Urges Community Impact

The three-day World Rugby coaching, refereeing, and medical course organized by the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) concluded in Abuja on Saturday. NRFF President Dr. Ademola Are urged participants, including coaches, referees, and medical officers, to return to their communities and apply their new knowledge to enhance rugby development.

He emphasized the importance of their commitment and expertise for the sport's growth and called for collaboration with state associations and sports councils. World Rugby East and Southern Africa Game Growth Manager, Robert Bwari, expressed satisfaction with Nigeria's progress, noting the emergence of local World Rugby educators.

Approximately 80 participants attended the seminar, which NRFF anticipates will significantly impact rugby development nationwide. Newly appointed NRFF Technical Director, Angulu Suleiman, encouraged participants to build on the training program's benchmark.

NRFF board member Wuraola Hussain highlighted the federation's investment in technical development as crucial for the sport's growth.
