NFF Hosts Workshop on Nigeria's Amateur Football Growth

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) conducted a two-day workshop in Abuja to present the Amateur Football Environment Report of Nigeria. FIFA experts Amr Moheb, an Amateur Football Analysis Manager, and Etienne Sockeng, a regional technical consultant in the FIFA Global Football Development Division, praised the commitment of the Ibrahim Gusau-led NFF administration to enhance grassroots and amateur football.

The workshop, which began on Wednesday and concluded on Thursday, featured practical exercises and discussions aimed at fostering sustainable growth in amateur football. NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau opened the workshop, attended by notable figures including NFF 2nd Vice President Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, NFF Executive Committee member Rt.

Hon. Nse Essien, and General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi. Coach Augustine Eguavoen presented the current state of amateur football in Nigeria, supported by Nasiru Jibril.

The workshop included participants from various football associations, coaches, and physiotherapists, culminating in a closing declaration by Essien on behalf of Gusau.
