Colleagues' Lack of Support for Temitope Osoba's Burial

Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya, the National Director of Social and Welfare of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), disclosed that some colleagues declined to support the burial of late actress Temitope Osoba due to claims that she was not a member of TAMPAN. This revelation was made during a candlelight procession and artistes’ night in honor of Osoba in Ikeja, Lagos State.

Adesanya criticized the entertainment industry for its lack of support, stating that efforts to raise funds for Osoba's burial were rejected by some practitioners. She confirmed that Osoba was a member of TAMPAN's Eti-Osa chapter.

Adesanya also highlighted the need for practitioners to support each other in life and death, urging them to celebrate their colleagues while they are alive. Osoba had previously battled breast cancer and had appealed for financial support for her treatment before her death.
