Fintiri Reshuffles Cabinet, Appoints New Information Commissioner

On Wednesday evening, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State announced a minor reshuffle in his cabinet. Leader Leneke has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Information, taking over from Jame Iliya, who resigned to seek nomination for the Demsa House of Assembly seat.

Additionally, Sali Idri has been moved to the Ministry of Livestock, while Professor David Jatau has taken charge of the Ministry of Agriculture. Muhammad Chubado, the former Commissioner for Energy, has been assigned to the Commission of Health and Human Services.

Usman Lamurd will serve as the interim Commissioner for Special Duties and will oversee the Ministry of Livestock until Professor Jatau returns from sick leave. The reshuffle reflects Fintiri's ongoing efforts to optimize his administration's performance.
