ADC Adopts Consensus Model for Upcoming National Congress

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the adoption of a consensus model for electing party executives in preparation for its upcoming national convention. This decision was communicated by the party's national chairman, Nafi U.

Bala, and the board secretary, Rufu Ikanmi. The party aims to strengthen unity and internal cohesion within its ranks.

Membership registration for new members will commence on March 14, 2026, and conclude on March 25, 2026. New members are required to register at their respective ward offices to collect membership cards.

The party's National Working Committee (NWC) has emphasized that existing members do not need to renew their membership. The consensus approach is believed to foster greater cooperation and understanding among the leadership, ultimately strengthening the party's ability to achieve its goals.

The scheduled activities include ward congresses on March 19, local government congresses on March 24, and the state congress on March 28, with the national convention set for April 3 to April 5, 2026.
