Nafi’u Bala Denies Regret and Threat Claims in ADC Crisis

Nafi’u Bala, the faction chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly addressed reports suggesting he expressed regret over his role in the party's internal crisis and claims of life threats. Bala dismissed these allegations as false and malicious, stating that they were designed to damage the party's integrity.

He specifically refuted claims made in a viral report, asserting that he neither granted interviews nor authorized anyone to speak on his behalf regarding these matters. Bala emphasized that the situation had escalated beyond control and reiterated that he did not instruct anyone to make public statements on his behalf.

He also mentioned the resignation of the former national chairman, Ralph Nwosu, on July 2, 2025, as part of the ongoing issues within the party. Bala's statements were made in reaction to a statement released on Sunday, where he sought to clarify his position and distance himself from the leadership dispute.
