Ogundipe Wins Ogun Guber Primary for ADC with 9,370 Votes

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared Dr. Biodun Collin Ogundipe the winner of the Ogun State governorship primary election.

Mr. Adeniyi Adam, the chairman of the ADC electoral committee, announced that Ogundipe received 9,370 votes, surpassing Jimmi Lawal, who received 6,812 votes, and Dr.

Mari Odusola, who scored 2,349 votes. The primary election was conducted across 20 local government areas in Ogun State last week.

However, results from two local government areas, Sagamu and Ijebu East, were canceled due to overvoting, necessitating a rerun in the Yewa South and Ado Odo Ota local government areas. Adam emphasized that the electoral committee's decision was final and that any declarations made outside the committee were unauthorized.

He urged party members to maintain peace and work towards a successful ADC campaign for the 2027 elections.
