ADC Elects New Executives in Ibadan South-West Congress

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) conducted a local government congress on Thursday in Ibadan South-West, Oyo State, to elect new ward and local government executives. The congress was supervised by representatives from the national leadership of the party, led by former House of Representatives member Rashe Afolabi.

A total of 31 officials were elected, including Michael Omotosho as chairman, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim as vice chairman, Alimi Ganiyu as secretary, Kemi Awolesin as women leader, and Ibrahim Yunusa as youth leader. Other positions included Audu Muideen as treasurer and Modinat Rashe as financial secretary.

Chief Adegboyega Adegok, a gubernatorial aspirant from the party, addressed journalists at the end of the congress, emphasizing the party's readiness to challenge for power in the upcoming general elections in Oyo State and encouraging people to join the ADC for a better chance of winning.
