ADC Accuses APC of Plotting to Disrupt Opposition Summit

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), represented by spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi, has raised an alarm regarding an alleged plot by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to disrupt an opposition summit set to take place in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Saturday. In a statement released on Saturday morning, Abdullahi claimed that APC had denied access to the venue in Abuja and made efforts to frustrate the gathering in Ibadan.

He noted that these actions reflect a broader pattern of interference aimed at weakening opposition activities. Abdullahi further accused the ruling party of hypocrisy, highlighting that while APC publicly claims not to threaten opposition, their actions suggest otherwise.

Despite the alleged plot, Abdullahi affirmed that the ADC would proceed with the summit as planned.
