Okonkwo Alleges APC Infiltration in ADC Ahead of Elections

Kenneth Okonkwo, a member of the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has expressed alarm over both internal and external threats to the party's survival. During a press conference in Enugu State, he accused the APC of deploying moles within the ADC to undermine its structure and disrupt its upcoming congress scheduled for April 7 to April 12, 2026.

Okonkwo highlighted discrepancies in the appointment of congress committee members, citing multiple letters with conflicting names and dates, which he believes are part of a strategy to create confusion and sabotage the party. He specifically mentioned Chinedu Idigo as a potential mole, claiming he is acting under APC's influence.

Okonkwo also pointed to former governor Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo's alleged collaboration with the APC to weaken the ADC's position in the state. He called for immediate action to identify and remove these infiltrators to preserve the integrity of the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
