ADC Fires Back at Peter Obi’s Running Mate Datti Over Claims on Coalition

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has responded to Senator Datti, the running mate of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, who criticized the opposition coalition. ADC dismissed Datti's claims that the coalition lacked the capacity to rescue Nigeria from underdevelopment, stating that they are ready to run with Obi in 2027.

The party emphasized that Datti's remarks were his personal opinion and do not represent the coalition's stance. ADC reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the alliance with other opposition figures like Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, Rotimi Amaechi, and Obi to provide a credible alternative to President Bola Tinubu's administration in 2027.

The coalition aims to unite against poverty, insecurity, and poor governance, urging others to join their efforts for a better Nigeria.
