Najeem Salaam Unveils 10-Point Agenda for Osun Election

Najeem Salaam, the gubernatorial candidate for the African Democratic Congress in Osun State, has rejected rumors of his defection and reaffirmed his commitment to winning the upcoming governorship election. During a manifesto unveiling in Osogbo, Salaam presented a 10-point development agenda, emphasizing his focus on various segments of society and the need for teamwork to address gaps in governance.

He highlighted his experience as a former Speaker of the Osun State Assembly and outlined plans to enhance worker welfare, security, agriculture, education, infrastructure, and power investment. Salaam stated that the upcoming election is crucial for determining the future of Osun State, particularly for the younger generations.

He aims to create job opportunities, improve healthcare access, and attract investments to the state. His manifesto launch follows the incumbent governor Ademola Adeleke's implementation of a 5-point agenda since taking office in 2022.
