ADC Deliberates Presidential Campaign Council for 2027

The leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is currently engaged in discussions regarding the formation of its presidential campaign council for the upcoming January 16, 2027 election. National Chairman Senator David Mark and presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are involved in these discussions, with the final announcement anticipated by mid-week. A key issue to resolve is the geopolitical leadership of the campaign council, given Atiku Abubakar's North East origin and running mate Rotimi Amaechi's South South background.
