Court Adjourns ADC Leadership Dispute Hearing Indefinitely

The Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned the hearing of a suit challenging the leadership structure of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) indefinitely. The adjournment follows a request from the plaintiff's counsel, Haruna, who insisted that the application before the court remains valid.

Justice Jame Omotosho presided over the case and noted that the court cannot act on the content of a letter addressed to the Chief Judge without first allowing the parties involved the opportunity to respond. The case was adjourned to allow the parties to obtain a certified true copy of the Supreme Court judgment related to an interlocutory appeal connected to the matter.

The court directed that the defendants serve the letter sent to the Chief Judge, and the parties are awaiting further directives regarding the leadership dispute within the ADC.
