ADC Faces Challenges in Presenting Presidential Candidate

Femi Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed concerns regarding the African Democratic Congress (ADC) potentially facing difficulties in presenting a presidential candidate recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the upcoming 2027 general elections. He made this assertion in a post shared on social media, criticizing the internal divisions and factional disputes that are reportedly weakening the party's chances in the next presidential election.

Fani-Kayode highlighted that the ADC's internal disagreements could hinder its ability to present a united front, which is crucial for electoral success. He urged politicians considering alignment with the ADC to rethink their decisions, describing the move as potentially unproductive.

Despite these challenges, Fani-Kayode expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in the 2027 presidential election.
