Sultan Bello Resigns as ADC National Youth Leader

Sultan Bello has officially resigned from his position as the National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), effective immediately. His resignation was communicated in a letter dated September 24, 2026, addressed to the Chairman of the Ja’oji Gyadi Gyadi Arewa Ward in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State.

In his letter, Bello stated that his decision came after "extensive consultations, careful consideration, and deep personal reflection." He emphasized that the decision was not made lightly and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve within the party. Bello thanked his principal, former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, for his support and guidance.

He also extended his appreciation to the ADC leadership, stakeholders, members, and supporters. Additionally, he requested that the ward leadership formally accept his resignation and remove his name from the party’s membership records.
