Nwosu Defends ADC Against Claims of Transactional Politics

Ralph Nwosu, the founder and pioneer chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has dismissed claims that the party is built on transactional politics or engages in power-sharing negotiations. In an interview with Punch, Nwosu responded to allegations suggesting that certain stakeholders, including Senator David Mark's group, were favored in coalition talks.

He rejected the notion of political bargaining within the party, asserting that ADC members remain stakeholders regardless of political alignments. Nwosu highlighted that the party does not operate on financial inducements, referencing former President Olusegun Obasanjo's involvement and criticizing the growing perception of politics driven by financial interests.

He warned that such a mindset could harm national development and reiterated that the ADC's ideological foundation is rooted in national interest.
