ADC Postpones Presidential Primary Results Collation

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) announced the postponement of the collation of presidential primary election results, which were held across Nigeria on Monday. This decision was made by Ikechi Emenik, the chairman of the presidential primary election committee, to allow party members to participate in the Eid el-Kabir celebrations.

Emenik explained that the collation would resume on Wednesday at 8 PM, following the return of members from religious activities. Currently, results from 12 states, including Borno, Kebbi, Anambra, Abia, Ekiti, Ondo, Gombe, Oyo, Imo, Yobe, Nasarawa, Enugu, and Benue, are still pending.

The ADC aims to ensure that all members can celebrate the holiday before continuing with the electoral process.
