ADC Calls for Unity Ahead of Presidential Primaries

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called for unity and discipline among its presidential aspirants as the party prepares for its primaries scheduled for Monday. In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by Bolaji Abdullahi, the party's national public secretary, ADC emphasized the need for its members to embrace democratic values and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the electoral process.

The statement highlighted that the primaries should reflect the principles of the ADC, which aims to represent a credible political alternative for Nigerians ahead of the next general elections. Abdullahi acknowledged the inevitability of competition within a democratic context but warned party members against allowing personal ambitions to undermine the party's broader objectives.

He stated that the ultimate goal is to emerge stronger and fully prepared to offer credible leadership to Nigerians. The ADC assured its members that adequate arrangements have been made to guarantee a transparent and credible primary election process.
