ADC Stakeholders Unite in Ogun Amid Leadership Dispute

During a stakeholders' meeting held in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on a recent date, members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) addressed internal conflicts, particularly regarding the suspension of state party chairman Dr. Femi Soluad.

Mr. Oladimeji Fabiyi, the ADC's financial secretary, asserted that the party is not in crisis and reaffirmed its commitment to uniting for the upcoming 2027 general elections.

He described the ADC as a rescue mission for Nigeria, criticizing the current administration led by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its failures in governance, economy, and security. Fabiyi also dismissed the legitimacy of Soluad's suspension, labeling it unconstitutional and void.

He urged party members to focus on collaboration and growth, emphasizing the need to mobilize support and correct any internal issues. The meeting aimed to reinforce party unity and prepare for future electoral challenges, with Fabiyi expressing optimism about the ADC's prospects in the 2027 elections.
