ADC's Yinka Olona Advocates for Internal Democracy

Alhaji Yinka Olona, the Oyo State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), declared that ADC is the only political party in Nigeria with practicable internal democracy. On Wednesday, Olona received defectors from the Labour Party (LP) and unveiled ADC's position in the Oyo South Senatorial District, specifically in the Foko area of Ibadan.

He maintained that ADC presents itself as a more reliable political opposition in Nigeria, emphasizing the party's strategic approach to politics at various leadership levels. Olona stated that ADC does not discriminate or impose candidates, unlike other parties influenced by godfathers.

He assured that long-standing aspirants would not face hindrances in their political ambitions. Olona called on new members to support the party and engage in free contests for elective offices at local, state, and national levels.

He highlighted the urgent need for ADC to address rising poverty and insecurity in the country. Former Labour Party member Mr.

Aderibigb Aderoju expressed his decision to join ADC, citing the party's mass-oriented policies.
