ADC Suspends Chairman in Nasarawa Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The African Democrat Congress (ADC) in Nasarawa State has suspended its chairman, William, for alleged anti-party activities, prompting a transition in leadership. The suspension followed a petition against William, accusing him of actions detrimental to the party's interests.

The party's Transitional Leadership Team (TLT) announced the suspension pending the outcome of an investigative disciplinary committee. The ADC also announced changes to its leadership structure in the state, appointing Barrister Paul Magaji Ajeh as the acting state chairman and Umar Babayaro as the acting secretary.

William is accused of various anti-party conduct, including failure to recognize the party's national leadership and interfering with ongoing membership registration exercises. The TLT has initiated a probe into the allegations.
