ADC Chairman Suspended in Nasarawa Over Anti-Party Activities

The African Democrat Congress (ADC) in Nasarawa State suspended its Chairman, Godwin Alaku William, over alleged anti-party activities, leading to internal tensions. The suspension was announced by the party's Transition Leadership Team (TLT) following accusations of undermining party unity and progress.

Alaku has rejected the suspension, claiming it is invalid and unconstitutional. The ADC has appointed new acting leaders, including Paul Magaji Ajeh as the acting State Chairman and Umar Babayaro as the acting Secretary.

The party's disciplinary committee is set to investigate the allegations against Alaku.
