ADC Suspends Wuse Ward Executives Over Kingibe's Suspension

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has suspended three executives from the Wuse Ward in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), including the ward chairman Kanayo Chukwu, Amanda Pam, and Omal Suleiman. This action follows the alleged suspension of Senator Ireti Kingibe, who currently represents the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the Senate.

Emmanuel Destini, a member of the party's National Working Committee (NWC), stated that the purported suspension of Kingibe violated the party's constitution and due process. Destini emphasized that no individual can be suspended without a formal complaint or petition submitted to the national leadership of the party.

He condemned the actions of the ward officials, asserting that they do not represent the party and warned of forthcoming disciplinary actions against those involved. The ADC's leadership, represented by Princess Nneka Neboh, indicated that they would no longer remain silent regarding these issues and would ensure adherence to due process.
