ADC Calls for Restraint Among Presidential Aspirants

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has urged its presidential aspirants, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi, and renowned economist Moham Hayatu-Deen, to exercise restraint as they prepare for the party's presidential primaries scheduled for Monday. In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC described the upcoming primaries as a defining moment for democracy in Nigeria.

The party emphasized the need for discipline, unity, and democratic conduct among its members. It stated that the conduct of the primaries should send a strong signal about the kind of leadership culture the ADC seeks to build.

The statement reassured members that necessary measures would be implemented to ensure a free, fair, and transparent primary process, highlighting that the ultimate goal is to emerge stronger and fully prepared to offer credible leadership to Nigerians.
