Adeyinka Adeboye Appoints George Aluo as Media Consultant

Adeyinka Anthony Adeboye, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, appointed Chief George Aluo as Media Consultant to his Office. This appointment aims to strengthen strategic communication and public awareness surrounding the Federal Government’s grassroots sports development agenda.

Chief Aluo, a veteran sports journalist and former Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL), brings decades of experience in sports journalism, media management, and football administration. Adeboye emphasized that Aluo’s extensive understanding of the Nigerian sports environment and his relationships with the media would be crucial for expanding the Office's programs.

The appointment is timely as the Office prepares to mobilize stakeholders for initiatives that enhance the connection between grassroots participation and elite sports development. Adeboye stated that effective communication of their vision is essential for involving various sectors, including government, private entities, and communities, in grassroots sports development.
