RCCG's Adeboye Defends Oluremi Tinubu's Pastorship

Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), stated during a monthly Holy Ghost service that the church will not bow to external pressures to remove Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria's First Lady and ordained pastor, from her position. Adeboye clarified that the RCCG operates independently of political parties, allowing members to worship freely regardless of their political affiliations.

He emphasized that Oluremi Tinubu was properly ordained according to church guidelines and has not violated any doctrines. Adeboye also addressed past public protests, asserting that the RCCG is not aligned with any political party, including the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He urged church members to avoid engaging in political disputes and to remain focused on prayer, especially with the upcoming 2027 presidential elections, which he believes have already been determined by God. Adeboye reassured that the church will protect its members from outside pressures and criticisms.
