Pastor Adeboye Clarifies RCCG's Political Neutrality

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), dismissed claims that the church is aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that RCCG remains politically neutral. During a service themed "Excel," Adeboye emphasized that members from various political parties, including the APC, People's Democratic Party, Labour Party, and others, are welcome to worship freely within the church.

He noted that while politicians are welcomed at the church altar, they are not invited to address the congregation during services. Adeboye urged citizens to remain prayerful and committed ahead of the 2027 elections, highlighting the importance of unity within the church and advising members to avoid political disputes.

He also mentioned his past involvement in protests and reiterated the church's stance on political neutrality, encouraging peace among Christians in Nigeria.
