Adebutu Not a Threat to Ogun APC, Says Abiodun's Aide

Olamid Lawal, serving as a special assistant to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, declared on a national television program that former House of Representatives member Oladipupo Adebutu does not pose a threat to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State. Lawal asserted that Adebutu's previous performance as a representative does not present a challenge to the APC's leadership.

He emphasized that the political reality in Ogun State indicates that an Iperu man, like Adebutu, cannot succeed Abiodun as governor, as the current governor hails from Iperu. Lawal further reinforced the strength of the APC's leadership and its record of delivery, particularly highlighting the contributions of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, who has facilitated large-scale youth and women empowerment programs across Ogun West.

He noted that the APC remains focused on delivering democratic dividends and urged the public to judge leaders based on their performance rather than promises.
