Orekoya Defends PDP Ahead of Ogun 2027 Elections

Afolabi Orekoya, the media aide to Oladipupo Adebutu, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Ogun State in 2027, has responded to comments made by All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Kayod Oladel. Oladel claimed that the PDP has lost its electoral value due to internal leadership crises.

Orekoya dismissed these assertions as "cheap propaganda" and emphasized that the PDP remains united and is gaining support in Ogun State ahead of the 2027 elections. He criticized Oladel for lacking the authority to speak for the people of Ogun State and accused the APC of internal crises and political coercion.

Orekoya highlighted Adebutu's contributions to the state, including donations of 700 transformers and support during the COVID-19 lockdown. He expressed confidence that the PDP would translate its support into victory in the upcoming elections, reiterating that Adebutu's popularity would lead to a decisive win in 2027.
