Adeleke Launches Free Health Insurance for Osun Monarchs

On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, inaugurated a free health insurance enrollment program for traditional rulers and queens at the Osun Health Insurance Agency's multipurpose hall in Osogbo. Governor Adeleke described this initiative as a landmark achievement of his administration, emphasizing its commitment to expanding access to quality and affordable healthcare for residents of the state.

The enrollment initiative is designed to ensure that traditional rulers and queens receive quality healthcare services without financial hardship. Dr. Rasaq Akindele, the Executive Secretary of the Osun Health Insurance Agency, praised the governor for creating an enabling environment for health sector programs and highlighted the strategic importance of enrolling traditional rulers in the scheme.

The event also featured endorsements from prominent traditional rulers, including Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooy II, who commended the governor's performance and development strides in Osun State.
