Adeleke Claims Leadership in Osun Gubernatorial Race

Ademola Adeleke, the current Governor of Osun State, asserts he is the leading candidate in the upcoming gubernatorial election. He emphasizes his administration's achievements, including the payment of over N80 billion in inherited pension debt and significant investments in public infrastructure, such as 350 kilometers of roads and the rehabilitation of health care centers and schools.

Adeleke expresses pride in his focus on workers' welfare, claiming strong support from Osun workers for his re-election. He criticizes the All Progressives Congress (APC) for resorting to violence, stating that seven members of his party have been killed and over 20 injured.

He alleges that the police are aiding APC thugs and have arrested several Accord party leaders, raising alarms about potential police involvement in election rigging. Adeleke has reported these concerns to President Bola Tinubu and the Inspector General of Police, emphasizing the need for a fair electoral process.
