Adeleke Confident of Victory in Osun Governorship Election

On Saturday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke expressed confidence in his victory in the ongoing governorship election after casting his vote at Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, in Ede North Local Government Area. He arrived at the polling unit at approximately 8:32 a.m. and was accredited by the Presiding Officer at 8:35 a.m.

Following his vote, Adeleke encouraged the electorate to participate actively and protect their votes throughout the electoral process. He emphasized the importance of the election for the people of Osun in deciding their governance for the next four years.

Adeleke also raised concerns about a police officer allegedly planning to disrupt the election in Ede and called for the Inspector-General of Police to intervene. Additionally, he reported that some of his supporters were being intimidated in Modakeke and warned against the use of fake ballot papers.

Despite these issues, he remained optimistic about a peaceful and credible election.
