Adeleke Plans Return to PDP After Securing Ticket in Another Party - Umar Sani Reveals

Umar Sani, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), revealed that Governor of Osun State, Adeleke, is planning to defect to another party to secure a ticket before returning to the PDP. Adeleke's absence from the PDP primary elections in the state was attributed to internal party crises.

Sani, who chaired the ad hoc delegation committee overseeing the elections in Osogbo, stated that the process was conducted peacefully, with results uploaded to the INEC portal. The PDP rejected Adeleke's strategy of avoiding the primaries to contest on the party's platform.
