Adeleke Unveils Industrialization Plans for Osun State

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced his plans for his second term after winning the governorship election on August 15. He aims to shift Osun from a civil service economy to an industrialized state that attracts significant investments.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Adeleke emphasized the importance of industrialization, free trade zones, and infrastructure development, including the completion of a state airport. He expressed his desire to leave a legacy that positions Osun as a model for other states.

Adeleke also mentioned his commitment to reconciliation, stating he would work with political opponents, including Bola Oyebamiji and former governor Gboyega Oyetola, to foster unity and development. He extended an invitation to Oyebamiji to share ideas for the state's progress and affirmed his willingness to collaborate with members of the All Progressives Congress, particularly in support of President Bola Tinubu, while ruling out any return to the APC himself.
