Adeleke Calls for Tinubu's Intervention Amid Osun Attacks

On Tuesday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke issued a statement condemning violent attacks in the state, describing the violence as unacceptable. He warned that no political ambition is worth the blood of innocent citizens.

The attacks, reportedly carried out by pro-APC political thugs in Osogbo, prompted Adeleke to call on President Bola Tinubu, the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and the Inspector General of Police to intervene urgently to restore order. He urged political leaders, including former Governor Gboyega Oyetola and APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji, to support efforts to maintain peace and warned against actions that could destabilize the state.

Adeleke visited victims of a recent gun attack at Osun State Teaching Hospital and Cottage Hospital in Osogbo, assuring them that the administration would not abandon them during this difficult time. He called for a thorough investigation into the incidents and emphasized the need for calm and adherence to the law among residents.
