Afenifere Dismisses Alleged Endorsement for Ekiti 2026 Governorship Election

The Ekiti State chapter of Afenifere has refuted reports linking them to the endorsement of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the 2026 governorship election. The group disowned any association with ADC and emphasized their alignment with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Afenifere accused a group led by Olayemi Olajuyinmi of exploiting their name for political gain and misleading voters. They urged the public to disregard such claims and emphasized their support for the APC's re-election bid.

The organization stressed that there is no official relationship with any party outside the APC.
