PDP Campaign Group Confident of Defeating Incumbent Governor in Ekiti 2026 Election

In Ekiti State, a campaign group supporting the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Dr. Wole Oluyede, is optimistic about defeating incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji and other contenders in the June 20, 2026 election.

The group believes that Oluyede will overcome challenges posed by Oyebanji, Mr. Dare Bejid, Dr.

Olusegun Osinkolu, and Chief Makanjuola Ogundipe. Despite legal hurdles, including the nullification of Oluyede's victory in the PDP primary election, the campaign group remains focused on reclaiming power for the benefit of Ekiti residents.

The APC has been accused of attempting to disqualify Oluyede from the race, but the party denies any involvement in such actions.
