The African Private Capital Association (AVCA) disclosed that Africa leads in gender inclusion in private capital, surpassing global averages. The report highlights women's prominent roles in African private capital firms, with 38% in investment professions and 33% on investment committees, exceeding global benchmarks.

However, gender representation decreases as firms grow smaller. Despite progress, women remain underrepresented in portfolio company leadership.
