Nigerian Footballer Emmanuel Dennis Linked With Move to Iranian Club Persepoli

Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Dennis, who has played for Watford, Celtic, and Nottingham Forest, is reportedly considering a move to Iranian club Persepoli. The 27-year-old forward, a free agent since August, is sought after to bolster the squad of the Persian Gulf Pro League team.

Dennis, who had loan spells at Istanbul Basaksehir and Blackburn Rovers, aims to replicate the impact of former Nigerian star Yakubu Aiyegbeni. Aiyegbeni had a prolific spell at Blackburn Rovers, netting 17 goals in 30 appearances during the 2011-2012 season.
