Adamawa Senator Yaroe Questions APC Campaign Feasibility

Bino Dauda Yaroe, the Senator representing Adamawa South, questioned how he could campaign for the All Progressives Congress (APC) after his extensive efforts in the Senate. Yaroe, who previously defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed frustration over the neglect of southern Adamawa, which comprises nine local government areas and has 15 senators.

He stated that despite his legislative efforts, including a proposed federal university education bill, the APC-led government under President Bola Tinubu has failed to support initiatives beneficial to his region. Yaroe indicated that he would seek re-election to the Senate under the ADC banner, emphasizing the ongoing issues faced by his constituents and the lack of attention from the federal government.
