APC Announces Reception for Taraba Governor After Kano Governor's Defection

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled an official reception for Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefa following the defection of Kano Governor Yusuf.

The event, set for January 31, 2026, in Jalingo, will bring together key political figures from the APC and PDP, including Vice President Kashim Shettima and party chairman Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwat. The ceremony aims to expand joint meetings between the APC and stakeholders, with notable defectors from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) expected to join the APC.
